
Website Redesign
The Fluid Running website was in need of a update to reflect the evolution of the business. The goal was an engaging site that is easy to navigate and delivers the new brand positioning and messaging to relevant target audiences (from a previous Brylson Brand Solutions project).
The Challenge
The previous website had two primary pain points – the user journey and content. We needed to restructure the sitemap to ensure users are taking the right path and identify the roadblocks inhibiting completion of the purchasing process. We were also tasked with implementing the new brand messaging to clearly communicate the unique value proposition. This included identifying content gaps and developing more sales-focused content
The Approach
The project ultimately evolved into a two-phase approach. First, in the Discovery phase, we gathered and analyzed information as inputs into our recommendation for the website redesign. We then transitioned to the Design & Build phase, during which we developed the sitemap and page themes, as well as addressed content gaps. We also performed quality testing before launching the new site.
The Results
Regular communication and check-ins with the client team was critical to the success of the project, which included delivering the new website in time for the brand’s peak season. Therefore, managing the timeline was important to retaining current customers, as well as recruiting new ones. Especially since we had partnered with this client before, there was a strong foundation of trust and shared understanding of work values. Our experience together not only fostered a sense of reliabilty, but also allowed us to have some fun as we worked together towards a common goal
